Children (0-19 years old):
Children are covered by OHIP for a routine eye examination once every 12 months with a valid OHIP card.
Seniors (65 years and older):
Seniors are covered by OHIP for a routine eye examination once every 18 months with a valid OHIP card.
Those who have certain medical and/or eye conditions are covered for a routine eye examination once every 12 months with a valid OHIP card. *Proof of certain medical conditions is required. [Click here for more details.]
Medical Exceptions (20-64 years old):
Adults with certain medical and/or eye conditions are covered by OHIP for a routine eye examination once every 12 months with a valid OHIP card. *Proof of certain medical conditions is required. [Click here for more details.]
Private Insurance:
We do not do direct billing at our clinic, but we will provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Patients with insurance plans should contact their insurance provider for more information on their eye health coverage.
