OHIP & Insurance Coverage
Children (0-19years old) and Seniors (65 years and older) are covered for a routine eye examination once every 12 months with a valid OHIP card.
*** Please note that OHIP coverages will be subject to change after September 1, 2023 ***
Medical Exceptions:
Adults with certain medical or ocular conditions such as diabetes, cataracts, glaucoma, corneal/retinal diseases, and amblyopia may be covered by OHIP for a routine eye examination once every 12 months. Proof of certain conditions may be required.
Private Insurance:
We do not do direct billing at our clinic, but we will provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Patients with insurance plans should contact their insurance provider for more information on their eye health coverage.
